Dr. Diala Touré is a Fine Art appraiser specializing in African art and African diasporic art. With an extensive academic and museum tenure in elite universities such as the University of Pennsylvania, Bryn Mawr College, the University of San Francisco and the University of California at Berkeley, Dr. Touré currently serves as the curator of collections and exhibitions at the James E. Lewis Museum of Art. Born and educated in Paris, France, Dr. Touré received her Doctorate degree (Summa Cum Laude) in History of Art from the University of the Sorbonne and speaks fluently 5 languages. Diala has a worldwide experience working with institutions of higher learning, museums, private collectors and art dealers. Dr. Touré has authored a book and numerous articles.

Dr. Touré and her associates offer outstanding professional services in art valuation, art acquisition and management, exhibition design and publications about African traditional, contemporary and diasporic art. Additionally, she provides lectures to public and private entities. Diala's capabilities are augmented and supported by a long line of family ties and associates with collectively more than fifty years of worldwide business and advisory experience in the acquisition, sale and brokerage of African and Oceanic art.
